Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday visited eminent litterateur Dr Nagen Saikia, who is currently undergoing treatment at Assam Medical College & Hospital, Dibrugarh, and enquired about his health condition.
The Chief Minister said that Dr Saikia’s health was steadily improving and that he was likely to be discharged by Monday, as per the attending doctors.
The Chief Minister met Dr Saikia at the Medicine Department of AMCH and expressed his heartfelt prayers for the noted writer’s full and speedy recovery.
