BJP accuses Rahul of undermining democracy over vote chori claims

Rahul Gandhi, the Congress neta, was charged by the BJP on Friday with "systematically and deliberately trying to weaken democracy in the country" by accusing the EC of "vote chori (vote theft)".

In Patna, senior BJP member Ravi Shankar Prasad told reporters, "Rahul is trying to create anarchy."

"Youth, students, and 'Gen Z' will save the Constitution, protect democracy, and stop 'vote theft,'" Prasad stated, referring to Gandhi's tweet on X Thursday.

What is he trying to say? He is merely attempting to incite violence, which is absolutely unacceptable.

Rahul's frequent accusations against the EC, according to Prasad, demonstrated Congress's lack of faith in Indian democracy.

Rahul Thursday claimed that in 2023, names were removed from Karnataka's Aland assembly seat through the use of phoney applications and technical tampering.

"What was his government doing? Congress is in control in Karnataka. Rahul is questioning the success of his own party's MLA after the Congress candidate won in Aland. The court case is still pending," Prasad stated.

Union minister Pralhad Joshi claimed that the Congress neta was motivated by desperation and that India would never accept power obtained by undemocratic means, in reference to Rahul's reference to "Gen-Z" in the context of "saving" the Constitution and democracy.

Amit Malviya, the head of the BJP's IT department, referred to Gandhi as "dangerous" and "delusional" and charged him with disseminating false information in an effort to "unravel India."
