In a major boost to connectivity for Mizoram, Indian Railways on Thursday announced the launch of three new pairs of train services from Sairang station in Aizawl, linking the state capital to key destinations including New Delhi, Guwahati and Kolkata.

According to Indian Railways, the inaugural runs of all three services will take place on September 13, with regular operations beginning on the notified dates.

The inaugural run of Train No. 02507 (Sairang–Anand Vihar Terminal) Rajdhani Express will depart Sairang at 10:00 hrs on September 13 (Saturday) and reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 07:30 hrs on September 15 (Monday).

Regular services will begin on September 19, with Train No. 20507 leaving Sairang every Friday at 16:30 hrs and arriving in Delhi at 10:50 hrs on Sundays.

The return train, No. 20508, will commence on September 21, departing Anand Vihar every Sunday at 19:50 hrs and reaching Sairang at 15:15 hrs on Tuesdays. The trains will operate via Badarpur Jn., Guwahati, New Jalpaiguri, Malda Town and Bhagalpur.
