Debabrata Saikia led a group of opposition parties that visited Kheroni in the West Karbi Anglong district today to assess the current state of affairs.
The opposition leaders claimed that the incident was the result of a political scheme after visiting the area. To demand an investigation into the incident, the opposition leaders will meet with the governor on Wednesday.
