Additionally, he said that the Prime Minister's national relief fund will provide an ex gratia of Rs 50,000 for the injured and Rs 2 lakh for the deceased's next of kin.

"Pained by the loss of lives due to a bus mishap in the Alluri Sitharama Raju district of Andhra Pradesh," the PMO wrote in a post on X, expressing sympathy for the deceased and injured.

During this trying time, my thoughts are with the impacted individuals and their families. I'm praying for the injured to heal quickly."

The PM added, "An ex gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of each deceased," announcing the ex gratia for the impacted.

Rs. 50,000 would be handed to the injured. At 4:30 in the morning, a private bus in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, fell down a valley. In the Alluri Sitharama Raju (ASR) district, the accident happened at Rajugarimetta on the Chintoor-Maredumilli ghat road.

The bus, which was traveling from Chittoor to neighboring Telangana, was carrying 37 persons, including the driver and the cleaner, according to the police. Six of them are secure.

Superintendent of Police Amit Bardar claims that because of the dense fog, the bus driver most likely failed to notice a curve at the accident scene, which is located near the Mothugudem police station. According to Bardar, the bus was traveling from Chittoor to the Sri Rama shrine in Bhadrachalam, Telangana.
