On Monday, thousands of mourning supporters kept pouring into Guwahati's Sarusajai stadium to offer their final condolences to Zubeen Garg, a cultural icon from Assam.
The 52 year old singer's lifeless remains were stored in a glass casket covered with a traditional Assamese gamosa, and mourners lined up through the night for hours to have a last look.
While some used their phones to document their final moments, several offered flowers and gamosas.
