Left no chance to loot PM Modi criticizes Congress in Odisha

Prime Minister Narendra Modi charged on Saturday that the Congress was plundering the nation's citizens, including taxing low income families while the BJP government was trying to provide aid.

"The Congress left no opportunity to loot people, and even imposed tax on those with an annual income of Rs 2 lakh," Prime Minister Modi stated at a public meeting in the Jharsuguda district of Odisha on the occasion of launching development projects worth over Rs 60,000 crore.

The maximum was increased to more than Rs 12 lakh by the BJP government. The Congress and its friends are crooks, so beware of them.

He claimed that after the introduction of GST 2.0 on Monday, which lessened the burden on citizens, the Congress started mistreating the BJP government.

"The Congress government in Himachal implemented its own tax after our government lowered the price of cement.

Prices decreased nationwide when we lowered the GST rates, but the Congress does not want to provide this assistance to the average citizen, he claimed.

In an effort to reduce costs for a variety of goods and services, the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council recently changed tax rates, instituting a two tier system of 5% and 18%.

In addition, Prime Minister Modi cited Odisha's quick development under the "double engine" government a metaphor BJP leaders use to describe the party's control of both the state and the federal government.

He declared that the government is dedicated to uplifting the poor, Dalits, and tribal people, saying, "Odisha, which has witnessed poverty for several decades, is now on the path to prosperity."

"It is our resolve that from chip to ship, India must be self-reliant in everything," he stated, restating his vision of "Atmanirbhar Bharat."

In Odisha, PM Modi inaugurated initiatives in a variety of fields, like as telecom, higher education, rural housing, railroads, healthcare, and skill development.
