On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially opened the newly built Delhi unit office block of the BJP at Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) Marg.
BJP leaders, including state president Virendra Sachdeva and Delhi chief minister Rekha Gupta, conducted a "havan" ceremony at the five story structure earlier in the day.In June 2023, BJP national president JP Nadda conducted a "bhoomi pujan" to kick begin the office's construction.
"Party office plays a crucial role in the functioning of a political organisation," Gupta told reporters.
Thousands of party workers will feel more confident thanks to the Delhi BJP's new office building.
From this edifice, party workers may establish the groundwork for their future.
Sachdeva outlined the party's history in Delhi, pointing out that the initial office was set up at Ajmeri Gate, then moved to Rakabganj Road, and finally operated out of 14 Pandit Pant Marg for nearly 35 years.
"The party will now relocate to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg in its own premises. Although difficult, this experience has been amazing," he remarked.
Union ministers, thousands of party members, and a number of BJP heavyweights, including JP Nadda, attended the inaugural ceremony.
The new office is situated on DDU Marg, near the national headquarters of the BJP.
