Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma told reporters Thursday that if necessary, the government could turn over the investigation into singer Zubeen Garg's death to the CBI.
The CID is currently looking into the matter. As the public's desire for transparency grows, Sarma declared, "There will be no compromise in ensuring justice."
