The total amount of tea produced nationwide in August 2024 was 184.45 mkg, 14.33 mkg greater than in August 2025, according to the TBI. The total amount of tea produced nationwide from January to August 2025 was 811.56 mkg. Assam's portion of this is 402.57 mkg.
