Trump appoints Dan Scavino to head White House personnel office



In an early Sunday post on Truth Social, US President Donald Trump announced the appointment of Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino to lead the White House Presidential Personnel Office.

The new American ambassador to India, Sergio Gor, is replaced by Scavino.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated that Scavino would be in charge of choosing and appointing people to almost every government job, calling it "a very big and important position."

Gor, who previously held the position, will now be the next US Ambassador to India, he also announced.
