On Monday, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced that Frank Bisignano will take over as the Internal Revenue Service's chief executive officer.
According to a statement from the Treasury department, Bisignano will continue to serve as Commissioner of the Social Security Administration and supervise day to day IRS activities.According to the department, he will report to Bessent, who is also acting as the IRS's commissioner.
