Assam and Railways will play their third Ranji Trophy Group C league game on Saturday at the ACA Stadium in Barsapara. The match was originally supposed to take place at Tinsukia, but due to controversy surrounding the pitch conditions at the Tinsukia ground where Assam's previous encounter against Services concluded in four sessions the venue was moved to Guwahati.
It will be the third game of the season for both Assam and Railways. Assam is currently ranked seventh in the Elite Group C rankings after managing to earn one point from their first two meetings. Due to their superior run rate, railways, who also have one point, are ranked sixth in the table.
