Karnataka knife attack 5 stabbed at Kannada Rajyotsava

 


During the Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations in Belagavi, miscreants went on a rampage, injuring five people, according to police on Sunday. While the parade was in progress, the attack happened close to Sadashivanagar's Laxmi Complex. Before leaving the area, the attackers are said to have randomly attacked five others.

Two of the victims suffered severe injuries, according to the police. For medical care, all five were admitted to BIMS Hospital. Authorities are looking into the incident and believe that the attack might have been carried out by outsiders.
Nehru Nagar residents Gurunath Vakkund, Sachin Kamble, Lokesh Betageri, Mahesh Vinayak, and Nazir Pathan have been named among the injured.

After the attack, prominent officials and City Police Commissioner Bhushan G. Borase visited BIMS Hospital. To find the attackers and determine their motivation, police have opened an inquiry.
