PM Modi called LK Advani "a statesman blessed with towering vision and intellect," whose life has been dedicated to bolstering India's advancement, in a post on X.
His services have left "an indelible mark on India's democratic and cultural landscape," he said, praising the BJP veteran for his "selfless duty and steadfast principles."
PM Modi wrote, "Happy birthday to LK Advani Ji." Advani Ji was a leader with great intelligence and vision who devoted his life to advancing India.
He has always personified the ethos of unwavering ideals and unselfish duty. His accomplishments have permanently altered India's democratic and cultural environment. I hope he has a long and healthy life.
S Jaishankar, the minister of external affairs, also used X to wish the seasoned BJP stalwart a happy 98th birthday, praising his outstanding vision, leadership, and lifetime devotion to the country.
