On Monday, Tej Pratap Yadav launched another fierce attack on members of his family and RJD, calling them "traitors" and threatening to take offense at any insults aimed at his sister.
His comments follow the announcement by Rohini Acharya, the daughter of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, that she was leaving politics and severing her family ties. Three of her sisters are said to have left the Patna home in the midst of the growing conflict.
"We will not tolerate any insult to our sister under any circumstances; the traitors will surely have to pay the price for this misconduct," Janshakti Tej Pratap stated in a post on X.
"The mistreatment of beloved Rohini di by Jaichand has completely rocked my heart. I have put up with what occurred to me, but what happened to my sister is unforgivable under any situation. "Listen, Jaichand, the people of Bihar will never forgive you if you attack the family," Tej Pratap continued in his tweet.
This is the most recent episode in the Yadav family's months long upheaval, which included Tej Pratap's expulsion from the RJD and the family after a heated argument about his personal life.
In an impassioned message on his party's Instagram account earlier on Sunday, Tej Pratap warned those he called "traitors" and made a direct appeal to his father in response to Rohini Acharya's declaration.
"I'm completely rattled by yesterday's incident. I put up with what occurred to me. However, the disrespect to my sister is intolerable in any situation.
The people of Bihar will never forgive you, traitors, if you attack our family. "The dust covering people's judgment is blown away when their emotions are wounded," he wrote. Additionally, he charged them with swaying his brother Tejashwi's political opinions.
Tejashwi's judgment has even been tainted by these few faces. This injustice will have very serious repercussions. "Time's reckoning is harsh," he continued.
"Father, give just one signal just one gesture, and the people of Bihar themselves will bury these traitors," the JJP head added, pleading with Lalu Prasad Yadav to step in. This is a battle for the honor of the family, the dignity of girls, and Bihar's self respect, not for any political party.
Rohini Acharya's social media post on Sunday, in which she claimed to have been humiliated, abused, and expelled from her parents house, sparked the debate.
When she questioned the leadership about RJD's dismal result in the Assembly elections, she said she was "disgraced, abused, and even hit."
Rohini blamed them for the family strife, saying that their behavior made her decide to leave her parents' house and give up politics.
