On Saturday, Union Minister Prahlad Joshi examined how central government initiatives in the fields of public welfare, education, and health were being implemented in Assam.
According to an official release, Joshi visited the Khanapara State Ayushman Arogya Mandir and spoke with medical professionals, hospital employees, and NHM staff.
Additionally, he examined the health services offered to citizens and inspected a number of OPD facilities.
He wrote on social media, "It was encouraging to see how proactive policies of the Central Government, supported by the State Government, are building a robust and accessible health system that is truly transforming lives at the grassroots."
Healthcare workers' efforts to provide high quality medical care under government programs were praised by the Minister for New and Renewable Energy and Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution.
Afterwards, Joshi went to a fair pricing store in the city's Six Mile neighborhood, where he looked over the warehouse and looked at how the machinery and paperwork were used before the delivery of necessities.
Additionally, he engaged with the public and examined the quality of rice provided to recipients under the Public Distribution System (PDS).
Joshi reaffirmed the government's dedication to providing all qualified recipients with high quality food grains at reasonable costs.
According to the statement, the minister also went to the Ganesh Mandir Higher Secondary School to inspect the construction of a new academic building.
