In the Loha municipal council elections in Nanded, the BJP faced criticism for running six members of the same family, all of whom lost.
The presidential candidate, Gajanan Suryavanshi, his wife Godavari, brother Sachin, sister-in-law Supriya, brother-in-law Yuvraj Waghmare, and his nephew's wife Rina were all corporator candidates. The NCP gained 17 seats and the presidency.
