Pahalgam probe to expose Pakistan globally: Amit Shah

The findings of the probe into the terrorist assault in Pahalgam will place Pakistan in the dock on international forums, according to Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday.

The National Investigation Agency's (NIA) two-day "Anti-Terrorism Conference-2025" featured a speech by the home minister.

Shah also presented the Organized Crime Network Database, the NIA's updated crime manual, and the Lost or Looted and Recovered Weapon Database.

According to Shah, the Jammu and Kashmir Police carried out a superb investigation into the Delhi blast. He claimed that 40 kg of explosives were used in the Delhi event, that 3 tonnes of explosives were recovered before they could explode, and that the entire conspiracy team was captured before the Delhi explosion could occur. He claimed that all of our agencies conducted a very successful investigation of this entire network.

The home minister stated that the terrorists intended to sabotage Kashmir's new phase of growth and tourism through the Pahalgam attack.

Based on incredibly accurate intelligence, our forces eliminated all three terrorists, sending a clear message to Pakistan.

He said that this was the first terrorist incident in which we used Operation Sindoor to punish those who plotted the act and Operation Mahadev to neutralize those who carried out the act using the weapons that were given to them.

Shah went on to say that the investigations into the blast cases in Delhi and Pahalgam are exceptional examples of thorough inquiry rather than standard police.

This is also a very important illustration of how an officer who is always on the lookout can save the nation from such a dire situation.

The home minister declared that the DGP Conference, Security Strategy Conference, N-CORD sessions, and Anti-Terror Conference have set a new benchmark for coordination, cooperation, and communication.

According to him, we cannot look at these four pillars separately because the Anti-Terrorism Conference runs through them all.

Shah continued by saying that the NIA has put a lot of effort into developing a standard ATS framework and has forwarded it to state police departments.

He clarified that creating a standard ATS structure for the entire nation gives us the chance to prepare uniformly at all levels. It is crucial that all state director generals of police establish a uniform ATS system as soon as possible.

He recommended that NIDAAN and NATGRID be used consistently by all state ATS units. According to him, employing NATGRID and NIDAAN in investigations guarantees that cases are not examined in isolation and also highlights the cases' hidden connections.
