China's economy maintained steady in the third quarter of 2025, according to the World Bank on Thursday, bringing the country's GDP growth to 5.2% year over year.
Citing ongoing headwinds, the lender predicted 4.4% growth for 2026 and 4.9% growth for the entire year in its most recent China Economic Update.
It stated that investment and exports are anticipated to be supported by recent fiscal measures and more stable international trade policy.
