Halloween at the White House Mini Trump, Melania, and a party pooper steal the show during President's trick or treat event

At the 67th annual Halloween event, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania hosted a Halloween spectacle right out of a comic book at the White House.

Dozens of kids dressed in costumes, including Trump government workers, lined up to trick or treat. Just hours after the commander in chief returned from a five day tour of Asia, Trump and Melania Trump also delivered hundreds of chocolates to children dressed in costumes.

As the Trump administration emerged beneath the White House's South Portico, which was adorned with carved pumpkins and fall foliage, the US Air Force Strolling Strings ensemble performed "Thriller."

The US Air Force Strolling Strings group played "Thriller" as the Trump administration appeared beneath the South Portico of the White House, decorated with carved pumpkins and fall foliage.

During a Halloween event on the White House's South Lawn, several families gathered with their kids holding trick or treat bags bearing the White House's logo. Trump met the kids and gave them treats in addition to giving them candy bars.

During the ceremony, the Trumps paused to speak with a few kids and their parents. Trump wore a suit and a red "USA" hat with the words "45-47" emblazoned on the side, signifying that he was both the 45th and 47th president.

The first lady was dressed in an orange accented trench coat. Deputy White House Chief of Staff Stephen Miller attended with his kids, as did White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who brought her small son.

Foster and adoptive families, law enforcement families, military families, and Trump administration officials with kids were among those in line for the White House's annual Halloween celebration. Among the most well liked costumes of the night were those of superheroes, princesses, ghosts, and skeletons.

Three siblings who dressed as Secret Service agents, presidents, and first ladies were very popular with the Trump family. After giving his doppelgänger a high five, Trump asked the three of them to turn around and take pictures. The president seemed to mumble "Melania" to reporters as he gestured to the small child.

The president laughed when a child showed up dressed like a filthy toilet with a "wide load" sign on the back. Trump gave the youngster a chocolate bar and seemed pleased by the "party pooper" costume. By transforming their wagon into a tiny McDonald's drive thru, another family gained recognition for their inventiveness.

The Halloween celebration upholds a custom that has been followed by multiple administrations. He was observed jokingly feigning to bite a few infants in the crowd, including one dressed as a chicken, during the occasion last year under former President Joe Biden.

When Trump put a candy bar on the head of a child dressed as a Minion during his first term in office in 2019, it may have been the most memorable Halloween moment. This year, Trump repeated the practice with a child wearing an unidentifiable costume and especially flat headwear.
