Today, Nirmala Sitharaman, the Union Finance Minister, will travel to Assam. The Union Finance Minister will lay the foundation stone for a state university and launch two significant projects in Guwahati during her two day visit.
The Union Minister will visit the Jagiroad Semiconductor plant site in the Morigaon district and open the Guwahati riverside project and the state of the art Guwahati Gateway Terminal.
The foundation stone for Swahid Kanaklata Barua State University will be laid by Sitharaman on Saturday at the Bholaguri tea estate in Gohpur, Biswanath district.
